Judy Sullivan Bio

I grew up in rural Briarcliff Manor, NY, just 30 miles north of New York City. Shortly after attending Syracuse University and working at MIT, I married my first grade sweetheart and we moved immediately to the great state of South Carolina! And, so the journey began...we raised two children in Aiken, South Carolina – fabulous area for children – and I began my ‘adventuresome’ real estate career...

After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration, I briefly taught college courses but was drawn back to the love of the real estate market – hard to get out of ones system. Another move brought our family to Connecticut. Another state another license (little did I know it would not be my last license!) Yet, another move brought us to Atlanta, GA where this time – again back to school – I achieved my broker’s license and opened my own firm as Broker–in-Charge. Now with a son in college, we were off to the west coast, Portland, Oregon and, yes, more schooling and another license achieved. Our daughter finished high school in Lake Oswego, OR so, not to let any grass grow...my husband and I moved back to the east coast where we managed and sold resort properties on St. George Island, Florida. Then back to the corporate world for my husband which resulted in another transfer where I finally went corporate – working with Prudential Corporate Relocation – we moved company executives throughout the world – and so it goes.....7 states/ 7 different licenses, but the overall knowledge and experience I gained would be impossible to ‘learn’ from any book...a fabulous life and fabulous experiences!

Now we are back in South Carolina and actually living our dream of paradise as full time residents of CLIFFS COMMUNITIES® for the past five years. Having worked in so many places throughout this great country, and having five years experience listing properties here on Lake Keowee, I do understand that one size does not fit all. Libby Zorbas Bio

I hail from The City By The Sea - Newport, Rhode Island, a wonderful place to grow up. As one of nine children, all sailors and I always knew no matter where I ended up, water would be part of the attraction. Now I am so pleased to be able to help others find their dream lakefront real estate.

My husband and I had been researching possible areas to settle as we planned to return to the USA after 12 years in Asia. On a trip home in February 2000 friends called me and insisted they had found “THE PLACE” and that I had to make time to meet them there before returning to Asia. They were right! Yes, water was an attraction but the weather, amenities and the people cinched the decision for me. I called my husband in Singapore and my enthusiasm was so infectious he just said “go for it”. I think it was those exact words, used on a rather regular basis, that have led us to live in so many places, including Asia and we have never regretted it once.

We finally moved here in March of 2002 and have been not only happy with our decision every day since, it just gets better. We love the lake, we enjoy our golf and having a dog again is just the best. Our daughter was so impressed by our new “digs” and all the area has to offer that she moved to Greenville in early 2006 and we couldn’t be more delighted to have her in such close proximity.

Armed with an MBA from the University of Houston and many years of international management and marketing I knew I was not ready to stay home. I have been fortunate enough to have always loved my work and in thinking about that, I knew I was loving being out of doors, with people and enjoying welcoming newcomers to our little piece of heaven. My work as Lake Real Estate agent allows us to enjoy the best of everything and the beauty of the area amazes us everyday. Being in real estate, specializing in the markets I know so well allows me to say once again, I LOVE MY WORK!
